We warmly welcome you to visit the Rehabilitation Medicine Centre at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. This is one of four clinics in Sweden designated to provide National Highly Specialised Care (NHV) for patients with a spinal cord injury. It is also one of only two NHV-clinics in Sweden that treats children, as well as patients requiring ventilators, in the early phase after a spinal cord injury.

Our tour begins at Sahlgrenska with a visit to the spinal cord injury unit, where we provide early interventions for adult patients, including those in need of invasive ventilation, and rehabilitation facilities. Next, we will move to the Rehabilitation unit for both inpatients and outpatients, located at the Högsbo site. Here, we will guide you through our training areas, indoor sports hall and pool, exercise kitchen, and training garden. You will have the opportunity to meet our dedicated staff from various professions for information and discussions.

Cost: £50/SEK 700 + 25% VAT includes lunch, refreshments, and transportation.
